Omg, Love Is Blind’s Lauren shared the moment she KNEW her relationship with Dave was over

Sorry to say most of us knew in the first episode

Shocker, Lauren O’Brien and walking red flag Dave Bettenburg did NOT last on season eight of Love Is Blind, and now she has spoken about the moment she realised it was all coming crashing down.

Back when the season first started Dave was very much torn between teacher Lauren and former NBA dancer Molly Mullaney. He eventually chose Lauren, but after her previous fling came to light, Dave and Lauren’s relationship self-combusted in a moment that many have said was part of Dave’s plan.

Though most of us theorised that the relationship would end, Lauren has now explained the specific moment that turned her on to the truth.

Dave

Lauren said she knew her relationship with Dave was over on that final date

As the other couples were talking about wedding plans and starting a family, Lauren and Dave were still bickering over her brief friends-with-benefits situation from just before the experiment. They tried to enjoy a date night at a bowling alley, but literally minutes later they took the conversation somewhere private and we all collectively knew it was coming to an end – as did Lauren, it seems.

“So going into bowling, no. But then as soon as we pivoted and he said ‘I’m not going to waste their time’ I was like what are we doing here?” Lauren said.

The moment Lauren is referring to saw Dave admit that he wasn’t going to bring his family into a situation that was doomed to fail. It was but another moment that suggested Dave was purposefully tanking the romance.

“Then we moved into the movie theatre and I knew when we walked in that was going to be the end of things,” she said. “I remember we were in this public place at bowling and we walked by a group of people and they knew we were filming because they had to film some kind of release and this woman said ‘Good luck guys, we’re rooting for you.”

But deep down Lauren knew that all the luck in the world wasn’t going to save the relationship and they split immediately afterwards. Dave did try to worm his way back in but had little success.

We should get even more answers at the upcoming reunion.
