Married at First Sight Australia kicked off with a bang, with the bang in question being Lauren Hall’s now-infamous sister Tamara.

Season 12 of MAFS Australia kicked off in the UK earlier this week with the wedding between Lauren and Eliot Donovan. Though Eliot’s red flags were enough to keep us hooked, producers threw in a curveball in the form of Tamara. Between swearing at her sister on her wedding day and later demanding compensation for her time on the show, Tamara quickly rubbed people the wrong way.

“Lauren’s sister Tamara needs actual psychiatric help, she is not ok,” one person said on Twitter, and another said, “Lauren and her sister both seem annoying but Tamara is out of control she’s acting like she’s the flipping bride! Just rude attention-seeking drama queen.”

It’s for that reason that we haven’t seen the last of Tamara, and besides a few scenes later on in the season, producers are reportedly planning the comeback of the century.

We know by now that incendiary personalities are the bread and butter of reality TV so it shouldn’t be completely surprising that MAFS Australia producers are planning for Tamara to return.

According to Yahoo, sources inside the production are eyeing up Tamara for a bride position in next year’s instalment of the franchise.

“The crew at the wedding were joking all day that she was made for reality television and the idea was then born. As controversial as she was, everything she did and said was TV gold and executives have acknowledged there’s so much potential there,” they told the publication.
