A MAFS Australia 2025 groom QUITS the experiment just three days into the show

It’s been revealed that a MAFS Australia 2025 groom quits the experiment just days into it starting. The show has been airing for a while in Australia, so despite only just starting in the UK, the drama is already into the thick of it.

The show might have only just started, and his wedding was only just aired, but it will soon be revealed that MAFS groom Eliot Donovan has quit the show. During the first episode, it was clear he had many reservations about the idea of getting married at first sight. He joked that if his wife wasn’t right for him he would just leave, and then shock! He did just that.

It actually took Eliot less than three days of the experiment to decide he was packing it in. So, before you start frantically Googling, it’s quite obvious he and Lauren are no longer together. He left Lauren just two days into their honeymoon. The pair didn’t make it to the first commitment ceremony, or dinner party.

“There’s no upside for me,” he said in a clip from the show, moments before his exit. “It’s things that are important to me that just aren’t a match. This is just a result of that.”

His bride Lauren confirmed “he’s leaving” and then said to Eliot: “It’s also an experiment, not a confirmed happily ever after. We were told throughout that it would be challenging. We’ve taken two planes, a bus and a ferry to come here. We could spend the next two days and actually have some fun.”

Eliot then said the idea of sticking around on his honeymoon when he wasn’t into it was “pointless”. Lauren called it “frustrating” that her groom was “running away after three days”.

Eliot then said there was no way he was staying because 37-year-old Lauren didn’t match his “non-negotiables”. Eliot listed that he wanted someone younger than him, oldest of 25. He wanted someone who wanted a “big family” and is “into exercise”.  He said he didn’t want someone who’s “into superficial things”. Yikes.

If this is the drama three days in, just you wait until what happens later on!
