Revealed: The real reason behind Tasha and Andrew’s shock split is so heartbreaking

The reason behind Love Island favs Tasha and Andrew apparently breaking up has been reported on, and guys, I was just simply not ready. Yesterday, it was said the couple had split up after over two years together.

At the time, it was said they had “hit a rocky patch” and decided to end things whilst Tasha was on Strictly. But now, The Sun is reporting Tasha had recently changed her mind about wanting children, very close to when they broke up.

The couple met on Love Island 2022, and had been together ever since. They moved in together, and share a dog. However, yesterday, it was said things were all over.

A source told The Sun: “Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.

“Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.” A friend close to Tasha confirmed the pair had “hit a rocky patch.”

The publication has since said Tasha did a “u-turn” over her views about wanting a family. This was just weeks before their split was reported on. Previously, Tasha gushed over Andrew and said: “I can actually see myself having kids with you one day. I was very surprised as it was such a change, but I was obviously very happy. I couldn’t stop smiling.”

Then in a recent interview with The Sun, she changed her mind. “We don’t see kids in our future at the moment,” Tasha said. “Neither of us are kids driven. We are both independent and happy as we are. We do have a dog and I think Luna has put us both off having kids.”

The Sun has also been given screenshots which appear to show a profile for Tasha, on dating app Raya. Next to a picture of Tasha it says she is a “Northern girly” who is “always smiling and laughing”.

As it stands, Tasha and Andrew have not commented on the split, or any reason behind it.
