Andrew is ‘struggling’ over ‘incredibly painful’ split from Love Island girlfriend Tasha

Following the news he and Tasha have split up, Love Island 2022 Islander Andrew Le Page is said to be “struggling” with the breakup. Yesterday, it was reported the pair had broken up after two and a half years together.

At the time, it was said the couple had “hit a rocky patch”. They then decided to end things whilst Tasha was on Strictly. It was claimed Tasha had been spotted on dating app, Raya.

However, The Sun is now reporting Tasha has removed the profile. The publication has also said Andrew is struggling to come to terms with the breakup, which is why they haven’t addressed it yet. Andrew apparently had no idea Tasha had moved on, and was on dating apps.

A source said: “Andrew and Tasha had been in a difficult place and had only just decided to end things. To Andrew it was all very fresh and raw – so to see that Tasha was on Raya and had updated her profile with pictures from when they were still dating last month was incredibly painful.”

A second source confirmed the dating app profile, which appeared to belong to Tasha, has been taken down. Next to a picture of Tasha it said she is a “Northern girly” who is “always smiling and laughing”.

The Sun has claimed a joint Instagram post about the split was due last night. But, people close to Andrew have said he is “struggling” so is yet to post. “Andrew was totally blindsided by Tasha being on Raya,” they explained.

“This was a long and loving relationship. They had talked about marriage and had not long ago bought a house together. Break ups are painful at the best of times but finding out Tasha was willing to put herself out there and move on so quickly has been hard.”

It’s also been theorised the real reason behind the split was Tasha making a sudden u-turn on her want to start a family. Tasha previously said in an interview she wanted children with Andrew, but weeks before the split said: “Neither of us are kids driven. We are both independent and happy as we are. We do have a dog and I think Luna has put us both off having kids.”
