Love Island’s Nas finally shares the real reason he split from Eva after four years together

Before going on All Stars he had never addressed the ‘heartbreaking’ split

Love Island All Stars is finally here. And with Nas being part of the cast of the show, a lot of us are wondering what went down with his ex Eva, who he split up with four years after Love Island.

Nas and Eva met on the first winter version of Love Island, in 2020. They split up in 2024, making theirs the longest Love Island relationship to end in a breakup. At the time, Nas simply posted on Instagram to confirm things were all over, and said it was “amicable”. He added: “We tried to work things out over the past couple of months but decided this was for the best, and are both at peace with the situation.”

But now, ahead of going into the Love Island All Stars villa, Nas has finally shed light on what happened between himself and Eva. Speaking to The Tab from lockdown before the villa, Nas doubled-down that the split was “amicable”. He added: “It ran its course, there’s no bad blood.”

Nas added they are still friends, and four years on still meet up with one another. “We chat like old friends,” he said. “I wouldn’t want to throw away four years together.” He added: “The relationship wasn’t for us, but I will always be her biggest fan.”

A source at the time of their split said it was Eva who ended the relationship, and Nas was left “devastated and heartbroken”.

When asked if he had told his ex he was going on All Stars, he admitted he hadn’t but said he thinks she worked it out, because he was looking after himself more and went to the gym over Christmas. He added he “wouldn’t mind” if she showed up as a bombshell.

Despite that, it doesn’t look as though there’s a chance of them getting back together. “I don’t think we’d rekindle,” Nas told The Tab. “After four years you know when it’s not right.”
