Professor Green to headline Freshers’ Festival

The acts that will perform at York's Freshers' Festival have been announced today.

Professor Green will headline the festival while there will also be a DJ set from Capital FM's Will Manning and performances from Dionne Bromfield and Kelli Leigh.

Professor Green won the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award at the BT Digital Music awards in 2010 and his latest EP, Matters of the Heart, released this year.

Dionne Bromfield first performed backing vocals for Amy Winehouse on Strictly Come Dancing. She also supported Fifth Harmony in 2015 during their Manchester and London shows.

Kelli-Leigh is a singer-songwriter who released her debut solo single "Do You Wanna Be Loved Like This?" last February through her own record label. You can listen to her debut solo below.

She has previously performed as a back up for artists such as Leona Lewis and Adele.
