Contactless payments are coming to all York buses

Gabriel HargreavesHave you ever been running for the bus at Picadilly only to realise you have no change on you?
Well, that is now a thing of the past as from January 28th onwards, all York buses will have contactless payments available.
The exciting news was confirmed by YUSU Prez Alex Urquhart on his official Facebook page this afternoon.
Paper tickets will also look different as QR codes are being added to all future purchases for the new ticket machines as confirmed on the First Buses website.
However, any annual or monthly tickets already paid for will continue as normal. Same rules apply.
