A Warwick Jailbreak team were attacked near Kings Cross St Pancras

They still managed to get to Spain

Team Sanchos, made up of two first-year students, were attacked during their Jailbreak challenge last weekend.

David Guenoun, an Accounting and Finance student, and his teammate Raphael Nahoum. a Management student, were attacked 15 minutes away from Kings Cross St. Pancras Station.

It happened on a fairly quiet street, when five men, who seemed like locals, attacked them and took £25 of their bucket money.

Speaking to The Tab Warwick, they said: “When we were attacked, we didn’t even try to fight because of the tiredness.

“We then met two police officers in the street, and we explained the situation. They picked us up into their car to find the five guys, but we weren’t successful.”

David added: “This didn’t put me off Jailbreak. We had a feeling of rage that boosted us.

“We then tried to raise the money that had just been stolen. We finally raised even more than the missing money.”

Team Sanchos made it to Barcelona the next day.
