Josh CohenKelsey’s is getting a new look and is set to reopen soon with a brand new interior.
After mass hysteria around the rumoured closure of Kelsey’s, we can reveal that our favourite haunt is in fact being refurbished, rather than closed for good.
According to Kelsey’s management, the refurbishments will include a new ‘club’ upstairs, as well as an area suitable for circling downstairs – great news for clubs and societies.
The middle floor is set to stay the same, with pool tables and superfluous televisions as before. However, there will be an all new decor.
It is also reported that Disco Dave is booked to perform upstairs on Monday nights.
Final-year student, Rajan Bains, said: “I hope it doesn’t become too nice though.
“What makes Kelsey’s so great is that it’s actually quite shit, but at least we don’t have to say goodbye to the Eliminator.”
Here’s hoping they put locks on the toilet doors.
