Trent is the 13th best uni in the country, according to us

We beat Notts and that’s all that matters

Trent is the 13th best uni in the UK — beating the likes of Oxford and Cambridge in new student-led rankings.

According to the Whatuni league, Trent scores higher than some of the most prestigious unis in the country, including three places higher than Nottingham, which embarrassingly placed 16th.

Out of the 113 unis taking part, the overall winner was Loughborough, closely followed by Harper Adams and Swansea.

The rankings are entirely based on student views, with 20,000 reviews published online, including a minimum of 100 from each uni.

The awards cover categories including accommodation, city life, student unions and job prospects.

For a uni which never ranks particularly high in the academic league tables, at least it appears we’re still pretty happy to be here.
