The ultimate guide to St Patrick’s day in Brighton

Where’s the Guinness?

With the booziest day of the year looming, we've created the perfect guide for how to celebrate St Patrick's day in Brighton this March 17th.

Ginger beards, four leaf clovers and Leprechaun hats are encouraged.

Alternative Paddy’s Day Hooley at The Rose Hill

Head to the Rose Hill on March 17th for a slightly different St Patrick’s day; celebrating Ireland’s referendum on abortion. The Eight Amendment criminalises abortion in all cases except where continuing a pregnancy would result in death and a referendum for this law is expected to be held in May or June of this year. Live music will start at 8pm and finish at 11pm, with DJ Mima keeping the groove going until closing time.

Tickets cost £5 before 8pm and £7 after with doors opening at 7pm.
