Line-up announced for Sheffield SU’s new Get Together music festival

Let’s hope corona has gone by May

The first ever line-up has been announced for the new Sheffield festival, Get Together.

Tim Burgess, Self Esteem, and The Murder Capital are among some of the leading names.

It’s set to take place at The University of Sheffield’s Student’s Union from the 1 to 2 May 2021, providing social distancing rules allow.

Alongside music, the festival will offer a variety of independent street food stalls, as well as entry to the annual beer and cider festival that is also held at the SU.

A spokesperson said: “In a year that has forced us to stay apart, and the majority of venues and festivals have had to shut their doors, Get Together, a new festival in Sheffield, looks forward to a time when music fans are once again able to share the joy of being in the same space and sharing the excitement of live music.”

A full lineup for the festival will be announced closer to the event.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 2 October 2020. You can find more information and ticket prices here.
