You can tell it’s election time. Whether it’s through bombarding our Facebook news feed, or standing outside the Windsor Building handing out flyer after flyer – everyone is trying to get noticed.

Not what you normally see outside Founders

But, no other candidate has quite managed it in the same way as Jason Michalski – the RoHo legend running for Co-President in Sports and Development.

Jason’s now well and truly THE big name on campus after putting  the cool back into the SU elections with a parody of Macklemore’s Thrift Shop.

And now he’s even gone from BNOC to national celeb, after making national headlines with his epic version of the song.

So it looks like the RoHo campus is fast becoming the new place to be seen, thanks to Jason.

The clip features Jason prancing in front of our beloved Founders building.

And it’s not the only RoHo backdrop to feature in the famous video. The limelight also shines on the SU at a legendary Function night.

Jason’s video has become an online sensation, with over 15,000 views in 24 hours.

How we love an ‘Escape’ night.

Even the Mirror and the Independent have noticed Jason’s talent.
