It’s official: Cripps is the poshest hall on campus

Through new stats revealed from the University, it's official that everyone's first choice for poshest hall on campus is mathematically the poshest hall on campus.

The stats, obtained through a Freedom of Informtion request, show that out of 316 current Cripps residents, 100 of them went to private or independent schools – a cool 31.6%.

Following Cripps, and in second place, is Ancaster's cooler brother Cavendish with 28.9% privately educated first years, and HuStu with 26.3%.

6. Ancaster Hall – 74/299 – 24.7%

7. Florence Boot Hall – 34/155 – 22.6%

8. Nightingale Hall – 34/155 – 21.9%

9. Lincoln Hall – 46/224 – 20.5%

10. Rutland Hall – 56/277 – 20.2%

11. Willoughby Hall – 42/262 – 15.4%

12. Sherwood Hall – 41/266 – 15.4%

13. Newark Hall – 52/407 – 12.8%

14. Southwell Hall – 23/197 – 11.7%

University Park halls dominate the top of the list, with a whopping 27.3 per cent of campus coming from private schools, probably because people from Surrey or the home counties could not bear living on Jubilee Campus.
