Crash on Smithdown flipped a car upside down
Amazingly no one was injured
Yasmin GasimovaTwo cars dramatically crashed at around 10am this morning at the Penny Lane junction, with a white Ford Fiesta ending up on its roof.

The driver, a young woman possibly in her 20s, amazingly escaped uninjured.
Oli Hayden, a witness at the scene of the crash, said: “I heard it, I work on Smithdown Road literally a couple of meters from where it happened.
“There was a massive bang, I just ran out to see if I could help.
“The girl was on her way out, she was fine – completely unscathed. The other car a guy got out and he was in complete shock.”
Speaking about the traffic lights at the junction, he added: “The lights aren’t working for some reason, they’ve been switched off since last night.”
