There is no electricity on South Campus

Classic

Just in time for some unlucky student’s last 9am of the year, the electricity has gone out on South Campus.

The university has been live tweeting the event, writing: “No lights on the tree : ( #powercut

They also said: “The SJL is open but no power, not much light, no wifi, no PCs, no catalogue, the books are fine but you probably won’t be able to find them”

They now state the National Grid are currently attending to the problem.

Lectures have been cancelled until 1pm today.

Beth, English and communications student, has a presentation this morning and told us: “It’s so annoying! How are we supposed to show our grades projects with no wifi? We had to walk around for ages trying to find a building.”
