CCTV appeal after teenager left with fractured windpipe in Concert Square

It happened outside Brooklyn Mixer

Police have issued an appeal to witnesses seen in CCTV near where a teenager was punched outside Brooklyn Mixer.

The 19-year-old was punched in the throat outside the club on Seel Street around 2:30am on 24th November.

The attack left him with a fractured windpipe.

Officers investigating the assault have requested to speak to three women who may have seen what happened.

Detective Inspector Colin Rennison said: “The three females are stood outside the club and appear to be close by when the victim is seriously assaulted and I believe they may be key witnesses to what has happened.

“We are treating all the people in the CCTV stills as potential witnesses and they are not in any trouble. We simply need to know what they can tell us about the circumstances surrounding this young man’s injuries.

“If you recognise yourself in the photographs, or you were close to the Brooklyn Mixer and have something that could help us then please come forward. It is vital we do everything we can for this young man and bring any perpetrators to justice.”
