You’re Hot Then You’re Cold

Students reportedly stripped down to their knickers as things hotted up in the Duncan Building.

Students are yet to be satisfied with the university’s central heating as today they were left sweltering in the Duncan Building.

Following the Arctic conditions in the SJ last week, today saw students take to Twitter in a heat-fuelled frenzy as they were subject to extreme temperatures in the Duncan Building.

The sub-tropical temperatures were down to a control panel issue which has since been resolved.

One student had to leave her lecture as she thought she was going to faint, stating on Twitter: “Had to leave the lecture as I thought I was going to feint.  This is affecting our learning.”

Another student tweeted: “Third year vets are expiring in duncan lt2… one girl has stripped to her knickers.”

The official University of Liverpool Twitter account later confirmed the reports, saying: “Engineers are working on a fix for Duncan Building heating.  It’s a control panel issue- this is being replaced.  Apologies to all those affected.”
