Lad, bad, but who’s dangerous to know?
Things are heating up between LURFC and LUMFC, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Catherine ReidLiverpool is no exception to the notorious rugby/football rivalry, as Liverpool University Rugby Football Club (LURFC) hit out at Liverpool University Men’s Football Club (LUMFC) over their gym habits.
The infamous rugby boys posted a tweet attacking the weights lifted by the football team, asking them to “stay out of the squat cages lifting baby weights with pussy pads.”
New guy on the block, @LivUniTroll, then egged on the debate and left the rugby lads with their tails between their legs.
@LURFC and @LivUniTroll sparked off the debate
LUMFC gave as good as they got, before completely silencing LURFC with their 19 retweets.
But LUMFC may have to watch their backs after the first team won just one game last semester… LURFC first team, on the other hand, won two.
Maybe they should increase those weights after all.
