Ambulance called to The Edge gym on campus after student incident
Sources say the student is still being treated in hospital
Emily Olivia RoneyAn ambulance was called to The Edge gym on Willow Terrace road after an incident on Wednesday evening, sources say.
Just after 8pm, two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance were called to the scene, and escorted the patient to Leeds General Infirmary nearby.
The details of the patient’s incident are still unclear, but sources say the student is still in hospital following the incident. The Edge gym subsequently closed their doors early due to the incident, and then made the following statement on Twitter:
Though the identity of the patient is still unknown, we wish them a quick recovery.
