Glasgow is the third best university in Scotland

We’re also 26th in the UK according to The Times

Glasgow is the third best university in Scotland, and 26th in the UK according to The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Glasgow hasn’t actually move a single place in the year 2015-16, staying at 26th in the UK overall.

It is placed 3rd in Scotland, behind both the University of St Andrews and the University of Edinburgh.

3rd in Scotland yaaaas

We’ve now fallen behind University of Kent. But we did trounce, both Strathclyde and Napier, who came in at 46th and 94th, respectively.

The Sunday Times League Table uses a variety of ingredients to rank the unis, including teaching quality, student experience, research quality, and graduate prospects.

Glasgow makes the top ten in subjects such as Psychology, and Drama, Dance, and Cinematics, where it placed sixth in both. In Law, Glasgow comes 8th, beating Edinburgh by one place.

We beat Edinburgh again in History, coming in at 17th in the UK, whilst our East coast pals, trail behind at 25th.

We came top 20 in tons of categories

Overall Glasgow didn’t do too bad, ranking in top 20 in most subjects. But we did get beat by Kent. Who has even heard of Uni of Kent?
