St.Luke’s is the hidden gem in Exeter’s crown

They even have a cat

Most of you are probably aware that Exeter has another campus called St.Luke’s, even if you’ve never seen or been to it. Perhaps you don’t even care about the fact that it exists. And why would you if you don’t study  Education, Sport, Health Sciences or Medicine? Well, here at the Tab we believe St.Luke’s actually has quite a lot to offer. Here’s why you should check it out:

First of all, they have a cat. Yes, that’s right. The St.Luke’s campus has its own resident cat. He’s so friendly and chill and always willing to alleviate the stress of deadlines and provide the purrrfect revision break.

How could you resist that little face?

Another great thing about St.Luke’s is that it has it’s own indoor  swimming pool (soz Cornwall house) which is open all year round. Sessions only cost £2.50 for members and £3.50 for non-members. Perfect for when you’re in at the deep end with an essay.

Are you worried about your growing student debt? Let’s face it. You’re never going to earn much if you study Sociology or Drama. Fear not my friends, it’s time to get down to St.Lukes and nab yourself a hot future doctor who will be able to support you financially for the rest of your life.

However, in order to attract your future medic spouse you may need to raise your gym game. Luckily the St.Luke’s gym has any number of classes including sessions led by virtual instructors so you’ll be buff in no time.

Why fight tooth and nail for study space in the Forum? Just head over to St.Luke’s instead and although you will feel awkwardly out of place, at least you’ll find a chair and a desk. It even has a coffee machine.

There is no doubt that the architecture of the St.Luke’s campus is aesthetically pleasing. If stunning stonework turns you on then this is the place to be. Did you know St.Luke’s has it’s own bar? Forget the Ram, X-Keys is where it’s at. Complete with a pool table, big screen, board games and cosy chairs what more could you ask for?
