Bored of always visiting Firehouse or The Black Horse?

Why not take a trip to ‘Thirst,’ a new bar and restaurant which has recently opened on the Exeter Quay.

The owners, Sam Gray and Yiannis Solomou, have recently taken over Havana, spending £100,000 re-vamping it to become ‘Thirst’.

The grand opening took place last Friday, and Thirst welcomed guests with a free buffet and drinks promotions.

Owner Sam also owns the Thirst cocktail bar and nightclub in Plymouth, but claims the Exeter venue will have a greater emphasis on food and drink, rather than partying.

‘Mambo,’ the old next door neighbour of ‘Thirst’.

Currently, they only employ around twelve members of staff, but the venue is expected to gain a reputation for being a nightlife hot-spot.

There are also plans to introduce entertainment to the venue, with comedy, live music and DJs appearing on the cards to entertain guests.

So, if you fancy a change of pace, pop in to Thirst. You’ll probably need a drink by the time you’ve walked down there.
