Dopey drug dealer gets into police car ‘by mistake’

He had a good business alongside his Business Studies degree

A hapless business studies student accidentally got into an unmarked police car while carrying an ounce of weed.

Mature Edinburgh student Mariano Colsa-Gonzalez interrupted two officers during their tea break.

And when he realised who they were he said: “I’ve got into the wrong car,” before getting out.

The 35-year-old’s behaviour surprised the police and so they followed, searched and found eight bags of cannabis on him.

A further search at his home found 13 more bags and over £2,000 in cash – he claimed they were for his personal use.

Found guilty, the Business Studies student has been given a Community Payback Order for 24 months, and ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work.

Previously he had to hand back over £31,000 in 2011 after being found guilty of supplying cannabis.
