Neigh bother: Whinney Hill horse found

You can go to bed now guys

A lost white horse, previously described as “loose and dangerous” has been detained.

The stallion, dubbed “Whinny Mandela” by crass bystanders, was reported to be roaming in the vicinity of the Science site.

Now the horse is back in safe hands (approximately 20 or so).

Horsey!

Third-year Geographer Charlotte Gagnier, who saw the horse, said: “Me and a friend saw the police escorting the horse very slowly around the traffic circle near the science site and up Whinney Hill at about 9.30.

“The horse seemed pretty calm. There were police trucks in front and behind the officers stopping the traffic.”
