Car crashes into the side of Godiva Place
Police are currently investigating the incident
Konica SarkarA car has crashed into the Godiva Place student accommodation after colliding with another car coming from the Gosford Street roundabout. A person who witnessed the crash told The Coventry Tab: “The driver was driving at 40mph and did not hit the brake, spun off into the other car and then carried on driving into the building”.
There were three people in the car that was crashed into and they were not seriously injured. They are currently at the scene giving statements to the police. Two people were in the car which crashed into the building. They were not seriously hurt either.
The police are now trying to get the car out of the building which suffered a lot of damage to the front seating area in the reception. They are also taking statements from all the people involved.
If anybody knows anything, they are urged to contact West Midlands Police with any information they may have. We will update you on this story as we get more information.
