Tompkins Table 2014: Trinity Triumphs, Catz Fucks Up

The Results are in! Trinity turns up trumps again, but there are a few juicy surprises…

| UPDATED 2014 Cambridge colleges firsts johns King's ranking results st. catz tompkins table Trinity

The Tompkins Table, published in The Independent, reveals that Trinity has produced a record-breaking number of Firsts this year, whilst St Catz has catapulted to the bottom of the pile.

This marks the fourth year in a row that Trinity has come out on top, making its mean average the highest ever in the table.

“Only 42.9% Firsts?! I think it’s about time Trinity held an independence referendum,” said James Robbs, a 2nd year MMLer.

“I feel sorry for the other colleges, to be honest.”

Despite Tompkins’ top performer’s 1.2% increase on its score from last year, Pembroke is (very slowly) closing in on the competition, reducing the gap between itself and Trinity by 1.3%.

Bunch of nerds

Jesus, however, is the real underdog, rising by two places to overtake Emmanuel, who appears to be in serious decline since its heyday as a consistent front-runner between 2006-2012.

Clare, Magdalene and Selwyn have all also upped the ante, each rising by at least 3 places, whilst John’s has slipped by 3.

With by far the worst news, the Senior Tutors of St Catz must be crying into their Cristal over their college’s staggering 12-place fall from 9th to 21st.

Oh bugger
