Kickboxers Lose Out in Town vs Gown Clash
See the photos as Cambridge’s Kickboxers narrowly defeated in thrilling encounter.
The TabCambridge University’s Kickboxing Society (CUKBS) last week took on fighters from Carisma and Anglia Ruskin Kickboxing Club as part of the annual Town vs. Gown competition.
The event, which was scheduled as a warm-up for next term’s Varsity Match, provided many of CUKBS’ novices with their first taste of competitive kickboxing and a crowd of 200 with ample entertainment.
Tab favourite and CUKBS veteran Heidi Holmes was among the fighters in action on the night, along with by Cambridge Boxing sensation Heley Matthews.
