Birmingham moves up four places in Guardian university rankings
We’re also top for dance and drama
The Guardian has released their 2017 rankings of UK universities, and Birmingham has moved up four places, from 17th place to 13th.
The universities were ranked according to various criteria, including student satisfaction and how much universities are spending per student.
We’ve also become the top university for Dance and Drama courses.
Birmingham has improved on almost all of last year’s criteria, scoring especially well on student satisfaction.

Student satisfaction with teaching /100: 90.4
Student satisfaction with feedback /100: 70.0

Spend per student /10: 7.3
