Natalie Bennett: Students should learn how to put bins out properly to stop seagull invasion

She also vowed to help poorer students

A concerned Natalie Bennett says we need to lean how to put bins out properly to stop seagulls invading our town.

During a visit to the campus last weekend, the Green Party leader said: “Culling and other forms of population control do not work.

“We need to tackle the waste problem, by both educating peoples so that they know waste collection arrangements, and realising that there is no one size fits all option.

“The Green Party would create a bespoke street by street way to tackle the waste.”

These flying despots cause havoc

She also vowed the Green Party will reduce student fees, saying: “Debt causes people to chase money rather than do what they’re best at or what they’re interested in.”

She continued: “The Green Party will particularly help those from a poorer background who aren’t subsidised by their parents, working long hours, which negatively impacts their studies”.

How she will do this remains to be seen, but it was heartening to see a politician making such grand statements.

More importantly, Bennett is the only politician to recognise our seagull plight and draw up solutions to help us out of our enduring misery. Even if it is only a better bin collection system.
