One of the biggest dramas during Selling Sunset season eight is what’s going on with Chelsea and her husband, Jeff Lazkani. During the new episodes, allegations are made that Jeff had been spotted kissing another woman, and since the show was filmed even more has come out.

Chelsea married businessman Jeff Lazkani in 2017, after they met on Tinder in 2015, when Chelsea moved to America. Chelsea actually met Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim through her husband – Jason sold Jeff a home, and Chelsea attended the open house. Chelsea and Jeff share a son and a daughter, Maddox and Melia.

What is said about Chelsea and Jeff Lazkani during Selling Sunset season eight?

Part of Selling Sunset season eight introduces problems going on between Chelsea and Jeff Lazkani. During a conversation, fellow Oppenheim Group agent Bre Tiesi told Chelsea she had heard Jeff had cheated on Chelsea, from a friend.

“A friend I’ve known for a couple of years – Amanda – asked to go to lunch. She told me that her friend, who she’s still very close with and sees, lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood, and that he saw your husband at the W Hotel in Hollywood with some girl,” Bre told Chelsea on the show.

“I know you don’t necessarily care for me, but I wouldn’t wish this on you or anyone ever. Like I’ve seriously been there and it’s awful. But regardless, it was brought up, she said it, and I feel like you have the right to know.”

Chelsea said she thought something had been going on, and since the show aired she has clarified that she asked Selling Sunset to set up the scene with Bre, because she had heard the rumours that were going around.

On the show we don’t see anything actually happen between Chelsea and Jeff Lazkani, but the other girls pile around her for emotional support, so it’s clear more went on.

Chelsea is later seen taking off her wedding ring in a confessional interview, as she said: “I think this needs to come off. The foundation I built in Manhattan Beach is something I thought I would be building for years to come. I would have fought to the very end for my marriage.”

Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff Lazkani in March 2024

Selling Sunset season eight is believed to have been filmed between December 2023 and February 2024, and just after this Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff Lazkani. At the time, in documents obtained by a number of outlets, it was stated she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.

It was also said Chelsea is asking Jeff, father of their five-year-old son Maddox and three-year-old daughter Melia, for spousal support, and she has requested joint physical and legal custody of their two children. It’s not clear if the couple had a prenup, and it’s been reported they will settle division of their assets in court.

Then, more allegations about what happened between them started to emerge

Shortly after the news of their divorce, it was reported Chelsea filed because she believed Jeff had been “cheating for months”. It was said she was “devastated” and the couple are no longer on speaking terms.

“Chelsea believes Jeff was unfaithful in their marriage and that is why she filed for divorce,” a source claimed to US Weekly. “The divorce has been looming for weeks now and she decided to abruptly file. She is completely devastated right now and is especially upset for her the sake of their children.”

The insider claimed the cheating “had been going on for months” and added: “She had suspected the cheating for a while and wanted to catch him in the act before filing. She finally had enough and decided to file this week, but it was a long time coming. She is still in the house with their kids. She wants him to stay out of the house, and they are not on speaking terms.”
