Revealed: Where Julia and Lorenzo *really* stand now, a week after Love Island split

One final twist

More details of where Love Island 2026 winners Julia and Lorenzo stand now have been revealed, one week after news broke that the couple had split up

The pair seemingly ended after a tough couple of weeks outside the villa, and it was said a fight at the NTAs was their final straw. They managed just six weeks together, but had apparently been in a rough patch for a while.

In a statement, Julia said she and Lorenzo had “come to the decision to go our separate ways. Some chapters are special even if they’re not meant to last forever.”

She then appeared on a Polish show in her first interview, and broke down in tears as she discussed the split. “It’s been hard for us this past week. Even the entire time we left the villa. But life in the villa is completely different from life outside,” she explained. She cried as she admitted “it’s still hard” for her to think about, and said her “heart is broken a little”.

Lorenzo took ages to post a statement that said much the same as what Julia had previously, and then she unfollowed him. And it seems as though that’s where they stand now – contact between them is off the table.

After she appeared in multiple interviews, a source has told The Sun: “Julia won’t be talking about Lorenzo anymore, she has said everything there is to say, she’s spoken her truth in a few interviews at home in Poland, where she felt most comfortable, and now it’s time to move on.

“She won’t be cashing in on the breakup. Those interviews were already scheduled before The Sun broke the news of the split. Julia has no interest in running him down online or on podcasts. Now she just wants to look to the future.”

Julia has signed with an agency and is now focused on her new career, while Lorenzo has dreams of pursing a career in DJing and events. According to the publication, he wants a designer brand deal soon, too. I mean, don’t we all?

A further source said: “Lorenzo is first and foremost a businessman and always knew how he saw his career post Love Island, regardless of his place in the final. That’s why he’s met with so many agents, because he sees very clearly how he wants to proceed, and wants to be sure of the right fit.”
