Ouch, Julia unfollows Lorenzo as he FINALLY speaks out in a lengthy statement after breakup

Love Island winners Julia and Lorenzo headed to splitsville last week, and now, after the former cried her eyes out on a radio show, her ex has finally issued a statement. 

Though they attended the NTAs together, Julia confirmed the split as she broke down on the Polish news site Super Express last week. 

“It’s been hard for us this past week. Even the entire time we left the villa. But life in the villa is completely different from life outside,” she said.

“We’re disconnected from the outside world, from our phones… Two months removed from the world. We were getting to know each other there and getting along great, but it wasn’t real life – we were disconnected from everything. And then suddenly, when we entered real life, everything was quite overwhelming. But we felt the pressure; we tried to navigate it all together, but there’s a certain stress about it all.”

Lorenzo was silent on the matter, even after his dad slammed Julia’s tears, but now he’s spoken out. It’s perhaps the most PR-like explanation in Love Island history.

Lorenzo called his Julia Love Island romance a ‘crazy adventure’

On Instagram, Lorenzo shared an array of black-and-white pictures from his night at the NTAs. He called the last few months of his life a “crazy adventure”, admitting it’s been “difficult” the last few days. 

He said: “It’s been a difficult time for me to process the end of this chapter. I’m incredibly grateful for what was an amazing summer with beautiful memories and wish nothing but the best for Julia moving forward.

“We shared such an unforgettable experience, filled with so many moments that I will cherish forever. The two of us went on this rollercoaster of a journey together, the fun, the endless laughter, joy and everything in between. It was a special time in my life, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

He continued to thank everyone “who made this an experience of a lifetime”, describing the outpouring of love and support as “genuinely overwhelming.”

“Here’s to the memories, the madness and the amazing adventures ahead,” he added. 

There was no mention of his dad’s horrid comments or the reason he broke up with Julia. Two different AI detector tools suggested it was written by a robot. 

Not surprising that Julia has unfollowed her former boo.
