This Love Island 2026 couple are finally official and the other Islanders are freaking out

Almost two months after Love Island 2026 ended, another couple have finally gone official and even the other Islanders are absolutely freaking out. 

After Jasmine and Kavan and Ellie and Finley’s announcements last week, Simba casually just revealed that he popped the question to Angelista in an Instagram caption on Wednesday morning. He shared a few pictures of himself showing off his outfit and wrote: “My girlfriend took these pics x.” 

Everyone kind of suspected it because the pair suddenly went silent over the weekend and weren’t posting on Instagram or Snapchat, and they were right. 

In the comments, all the other Islanders are so happy for them, which honestly just shows what a genuine couple they are. Simba and Angie really were robbed of the £50k.

Ellie commented “Ayyy did I hear girlfriend!👏” and Simba replied with a happy face and red heart emoji, as even more confirmation that they definitely are official.

“Eh eh?! Gurl fren?!!!!! LETS GO,” Ope added. Robyn also said, “Girlfriend AHHHHH!!!” and Lorenzo commented three red heart emojis. But it’s Finley’s reaction that was the best. He shared a GIF of a guy going crazy while celebrating a goal in a football stadium. Honestly, that sums up how we all feel. 

The pair have been keeping things quite private, but are totally loved up. Speaking about his feelings for Angie on the We Need To Talk podcast, Simba said: “I managed to find Angelista [on Love Island]. We had an instant connection, fell in love, made our way to the final, finished third.”

When asked if he truly fell in love in the villa, he added: “Yeah, yeah. Hand on heart. She’s my person. I’ve found my person.” They’re definitely the cutest couple to come out of the show this year. I really hope they last.
