Newest sad update on Perez Hilton, who just faced difficult decision that cost him $350k

It’s been over a month since Perez Hilton was hospitalised following his graphic livestream, but he’s still inside an inpatient facility where updates have provided the difficult decisions he’s made about his future. 

It’s gone relatively quiet on the Perez Hilton front, with family members and sources sharing less and less information as the weeks roll on. Most recently, loved ones shared just how disoriented Perez still was. 

“One minute he’s thinking about moving forward and making plans for when he’s back at work. The next minute he’s talking about walking away altogether,” they said. “He feels very isolated at the moment, very alone. He’s being really hard on himself, regretting all these things that he has done and where life is now. He’s despondent. He’s nowhere near ready to get out. He’s got a very, very long way to go.”

Though we’re yet to receive more recent information about his physical and mental condition, there’s another factor plaguing his recovery.

Amidst his recovery, which family members said could take months, if not years, Perez has been desperately trying to sell his Las Vegas home.

The property, which Perez Hilton and his family have not lived in since June, comes equipped with six en-suite bedrooms, a detached casita, a multigenerational suite, and a resort-style backyard. It was initially placed on the market for $4.25 million, but now Perez has been forced to reduce the asking price by $350k to $3.9 million. 

“It is a beautiful home, and it served me well personally and professionally,” he said back in July. “I was in the house for two-and-a-half years but now it’s time to leave Las Vegas as I want to focus on my health while with my family back in my hometown of Miami. Miami is where I need to be.”

Sadly, Perez Hilton’s financial troubles were a factor even before the now-viral graphic livestream. He was reportedly strapped for cash, which was why his family relaunched the Perez Hilton website whilst he was in hospital. His earlier financial woes, paired with medical bills, are said to be a stressful factor in his recovery.
