Perez Hilton’s ‘particularly alarming’ injuries surface as family addresses ‘gruesome’ details

There could be ‘permanent damage’

Perez Hilton is still recovering from the injuries he sustained during his graphic livestream, but he’s since been moved to an inpatient facility with around-the-clock care.

Earlier this week, sources close to Perez Hilton revealed the breadth of injuries he inflicted on himself in what many people deemed a mental health crisis. Though everyone knew he sustained massive amounts of cuts, he also broke numerous bones

“There were some broken bones. There were some other things unrelated that they discovered stemming all this way back to his sepsis,” Perez’s brother-in-law revealed.

But new details now show the damage went well beyond what his family has publicly disclosed.

Rob Shuter, a Hollywood gossip columnist who earlier revealed details about Hayden Panettiere’s passing, has spoken to sources close to Perez.

They said that the blogger’s injuries, which were mostly cuts he inflicted on the livestream, covered most of his body. The wounds even covered his more private areas.

“Perez suffered significant injuries and blood loss,” the person said, describing the injuries to his private area as “particularly alarming” in context. “But whether there is permanent damage is something his family is keeping private.”

This line echoed earlier statements from Perez’s family about “significant blood loss.”

At the same time, Rob Shuter spoke to a family member who said: “The people who love Perez are not focused on the gruesome details. Their priority is keeping him safe, getting him healthy and making sure his children are protected while he recovers.”

Yesterday, loved ones close to the story detailed the long healing process ahead for Perez Hilton. Though his wounds are healing, the graphic nature of the countless stitches has kept him from seeing his kids.

“The cuts are bad. Still a lot of bandages. Wounds. They’re on his face and neck and arms. They’re everywhere,” the person, who’s known Perez for 20 years, said. “We don’t need to traumatise them all over again.”

A judge granted Perez supervised visits with his kids, provided his therapist clears him, so it’s only a matter of time before they’re reunited.
