Here’s an actual analysis of how long Love Island couples typically stay together after the final.

So, as of September 2026, the average (mean) number of weeks that couples from Love Island finals stay together is… 75.5 (rounded to one decimal place, if you care). That amounts to about one year, five months and three weeks.

The results vary quite a bit across the different seasons. The most successful set of Love Island finalists are from season two (and by a long way). If you exclude 2026’s very flakey finalists, then the least successful season of Love Island is season 11, from 2024. The final four couples stayed together for an average of 10.5 weeks after the show. Yikes. Season four was also pretty abysmal – that’s the one in 2018, which Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham won.
