This is how much money Love Islanders are *actually* making on Snapchat and it’s insane

It’s not from brand deals either

All of a sudden, it seems like every single person from Love Island is posting on Snapchat, and we finally know *exactly* how much they’re making on there.

The messaging app went from being dreadfully uncool and nobody wanted to be seen dead using it, to suddenly being the biggest social media site around, and influencers are making big bucks on there. Following its major revival in 2025, everyone is posting on their Snapchat stories like it’s 2015 again, and people like Millie Court and Chloe Burrows post their entire day on there.

In an interview with The Sun that’s gone viral this week, Mitch Taylor revealed he made £28,000 during Love Island All Stars alone, a five-week period, literally just posting about his life. Sorry, what?!

“I’ll tell you how much I made from All Stars. £28,000. It’s amazing. And that’s why I don’t have a day job right now, and all my money is going into my house renovation,” he said. “My Snapchat family are so close to my heart. I’ve got my Instagram and my TikTok and stuff, but my Snapchat, likes, that is the inside of my life type of thing.

“I did well on there. It’s not about the money, but it’s my job. I don’t like to talk money because if it. If it were another couple of zeros on, I’d probably still tell people out of interest. It’s not a flex. I don’t buy myself fancy clothes all the time, but I just think out of interest, this is what people on social media have the potential [to make] and there’s people from my seasons that earn 10 times more than me.”

The craziest part is that money doesn’t come from brand deals. Love Islanders are getting paid directly from Snapchat just for posting on the app.

Speaking exclusively to The Tab on behalf of OLBG, Celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius explained: “Snapchat is the secret platform many influencers are now turning to because it can be far more rewarding than Instagram or TikTok. On those platforms, creators make very little from the posts themselves, with the real money usually coming from brand deals and sponsorships that often require lengthy negotiations, approvals and carefully planned content.

“Snapchat, on the other hand, flips that on its head by rewarding creators for simply posting and keeping people engaged on the app. Because adverts are placed between stories, creators can earn money just by sharing snippets of their everyday lives, whether that’s getting ready in the morning, travelling or taking followers behind the scenes. It’s a much more passive income stream that requires far less planning and sign-off, which is why so many stars are quietly making the switch. For influencers, it’s a chance to monetise the content they’re already creating, making Snapchat one of the most lucrative platforms around right now.”
