Actor’s daughter reacts to graphic Perez Hilton stream after he ‘humiliated my family for years’
Ireland Baldwin’s comments have divided the internet
Perez Hilton made a name for himself gossiping about celebrities, and following the tragic news of his hospitalisation, one of his unwilling subjects has spoken out.
Earlier this week, the police took Perez Hilton to the hospital following reports of him self-harming on a TikTok livestream. He was seen dragging a knife over his face and body, and was covered in blood according to those who watched the video.
In an update on Wednesday, his family said he was recovering in hospital. Few other details have been made public, with his family admitting that “very little information has been made available” to them.

Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, was but one of the celebrities that Perez made “unforgivable” comments about. Others include Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, and Amanda Bynes.
She reacted to the news on her Instagram story, stating: “Perez Hilton has publicaly [sic] humiliated my family for years, s*xualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family, drew j*zz coming out of my mom’s and friend’s mouths, and has always been a despicable human being.”
Contrasting that, though, she pointed to the tragedy of the situation and the effect on Perez’s three kids.
“But his children deserve better and a healthy father and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals,” she added.
The comments have divided the internet, with some people pointing out that two things can be right at the same time: He did horrible things to her family, but that doesn’t make this week’s development less heartbreaking.

“Such a fair take honestly,” one person wrote, as another said, “Very mature of Ireland to not jump on the bandwagon of someone who is clearly mentally ill and in crisis. Class act.”
Despite that, others slammed the actress and model for making the situation about her.
“Perez didn’t do anything more than anyone else. He just didn’t pander to celebs – the same way most social media commentators don’t pander to this. It is not karma for Perez to deserve this. He apologised a million times. Leave Mario alone, Ireland. No one invited your comment,” one person said.
For what it’s worth, Ireland never said it was “karma” or anything like that.
