It’s been over a week now since the Love Island final, and all of the Islanders have made their official return to Instagram. Here is a roundup of all their first posts back in one place, from soppy to cute and a little bit of shade.

Jasmine

Jasmine shared a roundup of her villa best bits and reflected on her “eight weeks of laughter, tears, love and serving looks”. She said she can’t put into words how “mind-blowing and beautiful” the experience was and said the minute Kavan walked in, she knew she had to “take him home”. Aww.

She then shared a vibey carousel from her first proper day out in London, when she and Kavan went on Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s NewlyParents podcast. In one pic, Kavan has his hand on her knee. Okay, maybe they are cute after all.

Kavan

Kavan shared some highlights too, and gushed over how great it was so share the experience with his brother Aidan, calling it a “story for the grandkids that will never be forgotten”. He added: “I was always true to myself, honest and open to the full experience. I’m so incredibly lucky to have found my person in @jasminegmuller who took my breath away the moment I stepped into the villa.”

He then shared a picture from the same day in London too, and people are laughing at the way he’s already swapped beer for matcha and changed his style. She’s turned him into a baddie.

Julia

Julia returned with a bit of a shady swipe at people who didn’t treat her right in the villa, saying: “I hope this journey reminds every woman to back herself, speak up, and never let anyone dim her light.” She also thanked people who have supported her and Lorenzo, but she wasn’t exactly very lovey-dovey about him. Everyone’s fearing the worst already.

Lorenzo

Technically, Lorenzo hasn’t actually done a proper Instagram post yet. But he did a collaboration video with Vogue, which might just be the most iconic first interview of all time. I wouldn’t expect anything less from him.

Angelista

Angelista thanked everyone for their love and support and gushed about how she “met her person”. But she said it’s taken her a while to “adjust to phone life” again whilst taking everything in. “It’s honestly all felt like one big whirlwind, but honestly thank you for embracing me for exactly who I am even all of my facial expressions lol it means more than you’ll ever know.”

Simba

As for Simba, he’s been “mad busy” and just “smiling bares” since he got back. Cute. He reflected on the highs and lows and admitted he didn’t always act right in the villa, but left with the “most incredible person” who he “can’t wait to experience life with”. We love a redemption arc.

Priya

Priya shared some of her villa highlights and said the last eight weeks were the “most surreal, emotional and unforgettable experience”. There was no specific mention of Aidan, but she said she’s made friendships she’ll “cherish forever” and “created memories that will stay with me for life”. Interesting.

Aidan

Aidan’s first post was a photo of him with whipped cream all over his face from the pie challenge. Classic. He reflected on the memories he’s made and admitted he made a “few mistakes along the way,” but every experience taught him something. “I’ve grown as a person, learnt so much about myself, and I’m grateful for every lesson.”

Yasmin

Yasmin and Tommy did a joint post with a photo of them hugging at the airport after landing back in the UK, saying the whole experience felt like a “dream”. They also said they can’t wait to “enjoy the little things together” and date in the outside world.

In her first post, Mica shared all her favourite memories and said Love Island was “one of the most challenging things” she’s ever done. “Being in the villa pushed me out of my comfort zone, taught me so much about myself and made me so much stronger. The best part…. I found my person @samrajtoor and made bffs I’ll cherish for a lifetime!”

Samraj

“OG. Dumped. Bombshell. Fell in love. Love Island S13… what a ride,” Samraj wrote alongside photos of all his best bits. He said that being Punjabi, saying yes to Love Island “wasn’t the easiest decision,” but he hopes he’s made his “fellow South Asians proud”. Samraj added that he’s currently enjoying life in Barbados with his “baddie”.
