22-year-old TikToker describes almost falling victim to drug trap on public transport

‘I would have never ever imagined something like that could have happened to me’

A British TikToker has posted about the moment she suspected a fellow train passenger was trying to drug her.

Aysin Cilek, a 22-year-old influencer, told her viewers she believed the man was trying to get her to consume devil’s breath, a dangerous drug which leaves its victims in a “zombie-like state”.

In the TikTok video, which has now reached 1.8 million views, Aysin detailed her experience of using public transport on her own for the first time with her baby. She described instantly feeling unsettled by a man getting on the train, who was “obviously dodgy”, but “thought nothing of it”.

Whilst the man initially posed no threat to Aysin and her baby, as the train approached its next stop, he came over and began to talk to her. Aysin said: “He passes me this like stamp, it looks like a stamp but it’s obviously not a stamp. It literally looks like an acid tab.”

However, she recalled: “It didn’t go in my brain then, I wasn’t thinking straight,” adding that she initially thought the stranger was “trying to sell” her something.

The man then prompted Aysin to “put the stamp on” his letter, to which the TikToker agreed to do before questioning whether there was a sticker to apply the stamp. The man then told the 22-year-old to “lick it” and “get it wet”, which is when she became suspicious of the trap.

Immediately, the influencer declined to lick the stamp leading to the man taking it back off her. Following this, Aysin saw the letter was just “a piece of paper”.

According to UK Addiction Treatment Centre, the drug is known for its ability to “disorient and incapacitate users” and can be manipulated to allow victims to be controlled. It can also erase the memory of those who consume it and only lasts in the system for 12 hours, making it hard to determine whether victims have been affected by it.

Warning others on TikTok about the potential drugs trap, Aysin revealed: “It can get into your blood stream from just holding it.”

She also noted: “I’m actually getting teary thinking about it. It was just me and Nevaeh. If I was that stupid to like just lick the stamp, put it on. I could have been drugged and Nevaeh could have been gone.”

She continued by warning her viewers: “You need to be so careful when you’re out.”

The influencer emphasised the shock and distress caused by the moment, saying: “I would have never ever imagined something like that could happen to me.”

Having endured the experience, Aysin claimed she “will not be getting public transport anymore” when on her own.

Whilst the man got off at the next stop, he left the TikToker shaken by “looking in the pram and going: ‘Don’t wake the baby,’ as if he was putting a spell on her”.

The influencer finished her video saying: “I have never been so scared in my life,” instructing her viewers to “be careful”.

In an update to her TikTok warning video, Aysin shared that she had received a message from a girl, who had gone through a similar experience with drugs.

Allegedly, those carrying out the trap ask their victims to lick the stamp as they are “fasting”. She then urged those to come forward with “any information” as she “can’t just forget about it”.
