She has spoken out for the first time
The disturbing case of OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk, who was found on the side of a Dubai road with a broken spine and multiple injuries, has sparked renewed attention on what some influencers have referred to as ‘Porta Potty parties’.
And she has now opened up about her chilling experience in Dubai, where she claims she was attacked after a lavish party.
But what are Porta Potty parties?

The term “Porta Potty party” has been widely circulated online, especially in influencer communities. It describes exclusive private parties. Women, often models or adult content creators, are invited under the promise of lavish gifts, luxury accommodation, and access to wealthy hosts.
Adult content creator Kay Manuel spoke to news.com.au about such events. She said these parties are sometimes presented as glamorous opportunities to network, party, and be rewarded with cash and high-end items. But she claims the reality is far more disturbing.
Some allegations shared online suggest that women at these gatherings may face degrading acts. The parties are held in hotels or on private yachts. The use of bodily fluids is reportedly where the term “Porta Potty” comes from. These claims are unverified and based on anecdotal accounts and social media reports.
Kay recalled that a woman she knew was hospitalised with injuries that required reconstructive surgery. She said, “It’s not something that you can come back from and go ‘oh well’. It’s burned on your brain forever.”
But why is this gaining attention now?

Maria, 20, said in an interview from her hospital bed in Norway that she was invited to a party in Dubai by a group of “rich Russian kids.” She claimed the group mocked her for not drinking. When she tried to leave, they took her belongings, including her passport and clothes. She was allegedly dragged back into a hotel room.
She later recalled hiding in a construction site, suffering a head injury, and waking up asking a driver for help. Authorities reported she had entered a restricted area and fallen from a height. The individuals accused by Maria were briefly detained but released without charges. No criminal proceedings were reported.
Her family stated her medical costs, estimated in the millions, were paid by Dubai officials. This was on the condition she did not speak negatively about the authorities. Maria did not blame UAE citizens but said her attackers were foreign businessmen.
So, could there be legal consequences for victims?

Legal experts say that even if women are lured under false pretences, they could face legal risks in the UAE. Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, warned victims of sexual violence or abuse may still face charges. These include adultery or public indecency, depending on circumstances.
“Sex outside marriage has been legalised in Dubai, but organisers have exploited this. Women think they’re attending a private party. Instead, they’re thrown into horrific, dangerous situations with real legal risk,” Stirling told the Mirror.
No official investigation has provided detailed information about these so-called Porta Potty parties, yet.
