‘So annoying’: Former Disneyland actor shares bizarre story about the viral Peter Pan girl

The woman behind the Peter Pan TikTok videos has gone viral, and now a former Disney actor who claims to have played Peter Pan has shared what it was actually like encountering her at the park.

Toni, who posts on TikTok as @babytoni99, has spent years documenting her trips to Disneyland and her many interactions with the actors playing Peter Pan. She first met Peter more than a decade ago and now reportedly visits Disneyland at least once a week. Her videos show her bringing the character gifts, taking photos with him and chatting with the different actors who have played Peter over the years.

Some people have found the interactions increasingly awkward, while others have questioned the intensity of the relationship she appears to have built with the fictional character.

Now, a former Disney World employee who says he also played Peter Pan has commented, and claims his own experience with Toni ended with him being fired.

Ryan, who posts on TikTok as @itsrayanspam, claims he previously worked at Disney World and played Peter Pan. In a video discussing Toni and her long-running interactions with the character, he explained that actors are expected to stay in character while working.

He said: “I used to work for Disney World, and I used to play Peter Pan’s character. I’m seeing the video about the new Peter Pan and the fact that she’s doing it for, like, 10 years. I’ve already met her in the park.

“Not that you don’t have to be nice, but when someone’s following you for, like, the past 10 years. And so I was fired from Disney World because I just broke character with that girl.

“It became, like, so annoying. I was like, okay, girl, okay. Let me show you who Peter Pan really is inside. I just think that, like, being obsessive with fake characters when, you know, I’m just getting paid and you’re following me all across the park. No, no.

“I have some other really juicy story times about me working at Disney World. So if you wanna get more, just tell me.”

Ryan’s claims have given the whole situation another layer, particularly because he says he personally encountered Toni while working as Peter Pan.

For now, Toni continues to post her Disney content, while the internet remains very invested in her long-running relationship with Peter Pan.
