‘You belong to us’: OnlyFans model dumped in Dubai with broken spine speaks out for first time
They ‘dragged’ her back into the room when she tried to escape
OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk has spoken out for the first time after she was attacked, beaten, and dumped on the side of a road in Dubai.
Back in March, Maria vanished in Dubai as her friends detailed her leaving “with two men who introduced themselves as representatives of the modelling business.” She disappeared for a full 10 days before being found on the side of a road with multiple broken limbs, a broken spine, and other life-altering injuries.
“There is an assumption that she went to a party. But the promoter who organised these parties did not see her. Maria was eventually found in hospital in a serious condition,” Maria’s mother Anna reportedly said. “She has no documents, no phone, nothing. She underwent three [now four] operations. And she cannot speak.”
The case was riddled with misinformation, theories, and conflicting reports, but now Maria has spoken out for the first time in a new interview.
Maria Kovalchuk is now in a wheelchair
Sitting in a wheelchair as she is still recovering from the horrific injuries she suffered in Dubai, Maria Kovalchuk gave an interview to the Russian TV station Ostorozhno Novosti.
“I still have a leg fracture that’s healing. I’m learning to walk with crutches again, but for now, the wheelchair is my main means of moving around,” she told the Russian news outlet from Norway, where her mother resides.
In the interview, Maria detailed how she met a group of “rich Russian kids” who promised her a flight to Thailand to meet up with her friends. At this point, “everything was fine”, but things changed for the worse the following day when the group began heavily drinking whisky.
“They started to tease me, like, why don’t I drink,” she recalled. “Then there were some aggressive pushes, they started to joke: ‘You belong to us. We’ll do whatever we want’. I tried to take it as a joke, because it was really weird. They started behaving inappropriately, smashing bottles on the floor.”

The group allegedly took her things, including her clothes and her passport, before insinuating that they wanted to have sex with her. Though she pushed off their advances, trying to flee the hotel room, they “dragged” her back inside.
Maria Kovalchuk managed to escape when they went out onto the balcony, but they soon caught up to her when she was hiding in a local construction site. Though the horrifying report detailed how the group “practically tore the skin off her scalp”, the OnlyFans model doesn’t remember the attack itself.
“Most likely, there was a blow to the head, I suppose. The next scene [that] I remember is me asking for help from a passing car, which had already stopped and called an ambulance and the police,” she said. “I think that maybe I was thrown. Or it was a beating. One of two options, the injuries looked like either a beating or a fall.”

Though Maria did accurately identify her attackers, with police in Dubai taking them into custody, they were released the following day without charges.
Maria’s “colossal” medical bills, which her mother estimated to be in the millions, were allegedly paid by Dubai officials under the promise that she didn’t “say anything that would cast the Emirates’ authorities in a negative light.”
Maria Kovalchuk is now learning to walk again.
