Inside the full story of the OnlyFans model who was dumped by a road with broken spine

A human trafficking investigation has now been launched

OnlyFans model and influencer Maria Kovalchuk is now at the center of an alleged human trafficking operation after she was found broken and beaten on the side of a road in Dubai. An official investigation was launched in the United Arab Emirates, but after failing to provide an acceptable cause of her horrific injuries, officials in Ukraine started their own.

The OnlyFans model disappeared in early March

On March 9, Ukrainian OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk vanished in Dubai and later failed to catch a flight to Thailand with her friends on March 11. The last her friends heard, she was going to a party at a hotel “with two men who introduced themselves as representatives of the modeling business.”

A missing persons report was issued, but despite the search from authorities in Dubai, Maria could not be located for 10 days. On March 19, she was found dumped on the side of a road with serious injuries.

She was discovered with horrific injuries

According to the MailOnline, Maria was discovered abandoned on the side of a road in Dubai with potentially life-altering injuries. She broke multiple limbs, was bloodied and bruised, and she broke her spine.

Upon discovery, Maria was rushed to hospital where she underwent four lengthy surgeries to save her life. Her mother was then turned on to her location when Oleksiy Lyashenko, Ukraine’s consul in Dubai, tracked her down.

“There is an assumption that she went to a party. But the promoter who organised these parties did not see her. Maria was eventually found in hospital in a serious condition,” Maria’s mother Anna reportedly said. “She has no documents, no phone, nothing. She underwent three [now four] operations. And she cannot speak.”

Thankfully, it’s looking like Maria will be okay, as her mum said: “She is getting medical treatment and everything will be all right.”

The case has sparked a lot of theories

The mystery behind Maria’s disappearance is still yet to be solved, but police in Dubai have claimed she had wandered a “restricted construction site” alone and fallen “from a height.” They reportedly reached this conclusion after a “comprehensive investigation”, but Maria’s family have since questioned it, calling the information fake and telling the MailOnline: “I cannot comment because of the investigation.”

Amid the evolving story, others have claimed that Maria could have attended a porta potty party, which are becoming huge talking points in the depths of the internet. There are several subreddits dedicated to the events, and people are reportedly paid as much as $100,000 to have rich people do whatever they want.

“We have received a number of complaints from influencers and artists who have been invited to Dubai for performances and events to then be lured into parties where they have been expected to participate in sexual activities,” Radha Stirling, the CEO of Detained in Dubai, told The Mirror.

“Women need to be aware that they may face confronting and even dangerous situations, and if there is a married man involved, they can still be charged with adultery.”

An investigation into human trafficking has been launched as a result

Not satisfied with the investigation in Dubai, Ukrainian police have now opened a human trafficking case in relation to Maria’s disappearance and her subsequent abandonment on the side of the road.

The National Police of Ukraine, specifically the Lviv region department where Maria is from, has now officially launched the investigation and more information is expected to follow.
