The six Love Island boys Maya Jama follows on Instagram, who are clearly her favourites

Getting a follow from Maya Jama after Love Island is like gold dust. She doesn’t give out a follow to just anyone and keeps her following circle very small, so a follow definitely means they’re one of her favourites.

The Love Island host hasn’t followed anyone at all from the 2026 series yet, and she only follows 13 girls in total, from every single series. There’s Olivia Attwood, Montana Brown, Molly-Mae Hague, Samie Elishi and 2025’s famous “big three” – just to name a few. But the boys are even more scarce.

225 guys are estimated to have been on the show between series one in 2015 and series 13 in 2026, and she only follows six of them. Yep, six. The list includes: Casey O’Gorman, Ovie Soko, Harry Cooksley, Cach Mercer, Tyrique Hyde and Dami Hope.

Maya has interacted with so many different cast members over the years, yet she only chooses to follow a very select few, and it honestly feels targeted.

Some of them are obviously people she knows more personally, like Casey, who works on Aftersun now, and Harry, who’s still with Shakira. The big three now present Love Island: The Debrief, so it makes sense.

She followed Toni’s ex, Cash, long before they started hosting the Love Island podcast, though, and she never followed Yasmin’s ex, Jamie. Interesting.

Ovie is where it gets interesting. The pair were forced to deny fake rumours that they had kissed on a night out back in 2019, after reports they were getting close at a London nightclub. “They’ve never met so there’s no truth to this,” her rep told OK!.

Speaking on JD Sports’ podcast In The Duffle Bag, Ovie added: “You know what’s jokes, I’ve never met Maya. I’ve never met her in my life. I swear to God, I’ve never met her in my life.

“They did filming for the very last Aftersun, which was at the villa, where she was there with two other talents and the whole cast we’d sort of shot — I think it was like a promo. You know she was standing outside a door but, no, never met her in my life.”
