Bob versus literally everyone! Drag Race winner’s latest opinion is dividing other queens
Bob the Drag Queen caused drama saying queens shouldn’t go on Vs The World or Global All Stars
Another day another Drag Race drama, and this one is centred around Bob the Drag Queen giving their always well put verdict on how in their view queens should not compete in Global All Stars or Vs The World iterations of the franchise. Bob the Drag Queen is obviously a TV personality who’s never been one to mince their words, and it’s why they’re such good television. But this particular stance Bob has on how Drag Race queens shouldn’t do Global All Stars or Vs the World has caused a lot of drama in the Drag Race fandom and kicked off a little feud on Twitter.
Here’s a rundown of all the drama.
Bob made the comment with Naomi Smalls
I don’t understand why being so harsh on a platform showcasing amazing non US and especially drag artists that aren’t from non english speaking countries? Have you seen Marina Summers? Nehellenia ? etc..
And if those stop existing including Global, where are we gonna see it? pic.twitter.com/nqzAHJdQsx

Speaking on the always iconic and always popular podcast Sibling Rivalry, Bob says “I would never – let me tell you right now. Any queens if you’re getting offers Versus the World, say no. We have to stop them even offering it as an option. If y’all keep saying no, they’ll stop offering it. There’s no way you’d ever convince me, and I know I won Drag Race.

“But b*tch, if I was Alisa Summers you could not convince me to do Versus the World.” When Naomi Smalls asks what about Global All Stars instead, Bob says “No. Even worse. Even worse.” Naomi says she’d take whatever show was there, and Bob says “You would not accept a Versus the World. Stop lying.” But Bob does admit they’d do it for a billion dollars. Fair play, to be fair.
The viral clip instantly ruffled feathers, with the first tweet pointing out “I don’t understand why being so harsh on a platform showcasing amazing non US and especially drag artists that aren’t from non English speaking countries? Have you seen Marina Summers? Nehellenia? And if those stop existing including Global, where are we gonna see it?”
“Where are we gonna see it?” Baby, go to a drag bar https://t.co/W7UxomxyYG

Bob the Drag Queen then responded to the Drag Race drama directly, and quoted the viral tweet saying “‘Where are we gonna see it?’ Baby, go to a drag bar.”
When a fan (quite fairly) replied to this saying “How would you see the drag cultures of so many countries outside the US by going to a drag bar in the US?”, Bob replied: “Wait until you find out about YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.”
Bob then posted a lengthy post replying to a fan who called them xenophobic, saying: “”Xenophobic?!?! Sometimes the Drag Race fandom is the very definition of ‘go touch grass.’ Y’all have truly lost the plot. All this because I said I wouldn’t compete on [Versus the World] or [Global All Stars]. I’ve also stated that I wouldn’t even compete on an all winners season. When you boil ‘xenophobia’ down to ‘Bob said she wouldn’t compete on Versus the World,’ the word begins to literally mean nothing.”
Big Drag Race alumni didn’t agree with Bob
More drama came from Bob the Drag Queen’s comments when Drag Race legends chimed in, disagreeing. Angeria Paris VanMicheals tweeted” I actually told my best friend that if I didn’t win All Stars 9 and was asked to do UK vs the World or Global, my answer would be ‘yes.’ I wanted a new experience. Competing with non-American queens sounds so fun to me.” Bob replied to this simply saying “Boo”.
But the biggest mic drop came from Nehellenia, who became a fan favourite on Global All Stars. Nehellenia stated “TV shows like [Global All Stars] or [Versus the World] not only give the opportunity to drag queens who otherwise could not have the same visibility on a global level to show the public how artists with different backgrounds and styles can compete together, proving to have the same talent… and sometimes even more than American artists.”
Nehellenia continued “Try to do what you do in a language that you do not master perfectly! Why denigrate something that tries to praise the art of drag instead of supporting it? Why take away value from something so humanly and artistically unifying?
“Every drag is valid… some ideals instead are not.”
