Guys, MAFS’ Jacqui and Clint are now fighting with Awhina and it’s so damn exhausting

MAFS Australia might be over, but the drama is very much alive as the not-so-dynamic duo of Clint Rice and Jacqui Burfoot are now beefing with Awhina Rutene over a stupid Instagram post. Grab a cocktail, you’ll need it.

The season 12 cast only got their Instagram profiles back this week, so naturally, many of them have started Q&As with viewers to answer their burning questions. Awhina was among them, with one person asking her, “If you were to put two people together from this season, who would you put together?”

Rather than answer the question seriously, perhaps with an obvious response such as Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan, Awhina decided to be a messy queen and responded, “Adrian and Jacqui period.” To the uneducated it might not seem that outrageous, but we MAFS Australia viewers know she outright loathes Adrian, and apparently Jacqui too.

Obviously, keyboard warriors Jacqui and Clint couldn’t let Awhina’s slight slide.

MAFS’ Jacqui and Clint responded to Awhina on Instagram

After someone sent Awhina’s Instagram story to Jacqui, she posted it to her own Instagram story alongside a lengthy statement about how disappointed she was.

“I agree – it’s sad. I feel sorry for her. And with her son in the picture? And if speaking my truth, standing up for what I believe in and pursuing justice rubs people the wrong way-whatever it is, what it is – I don’t care – that’s none of my business. I genuinely couldn’t care less. People like her are not worth our time or energy. Clint and I cut her out ages ago and moved on to bigger and better things!! She’s probably just jealous!! Honestly, it’s sad,” she wrote.

She tagged upcoming hubby Clint Rice in the post, and he then reposted it to his story – but the saga is still continuing. Shortly afterwards, Awhina responded to Jacqui’s response – I know, I’m tired too – writing: “Jacqui, your behaviour post show has been disgusting.”

“The way you’ve gone after Rhi is straight up bullying, and it says more about you than her. Keep my son’s name out of your mouth,” she added. “Also I CUT you out, not the other way around. You have too much time on your hands and you blocked most people so you can continue to speak about us without retaliation.. I thought you’re happy and engaged go be happy, I wouldn’t be online if I found my soul mate.”

Just a few hours ago, Jacqui blocked her season 12 sister on Instagram as she explained the reasoning why: “Sorry guys, I haven’t responded, I am busy working at AFW. Love you all!! Thank you for the inbox messages. This is a healthy response to mean girls. Just block and invest in people and things that matter!”

I mean, she could have just blocked her and not said anything, but that’s Jacqui for you.
