Thirst traps to Q&A: Everything the MAFS Australia cast posted after the Instagram ban lifted

How is it already kicking off?

The cast of MAFS Australia season 12 have FINALLY got their Instagram accounts back, and with it, a new era of reality TV chaos where people unfollow one another, post cutting jabs in the comments, and launch long-awaited brand deals. Oh, it’s gonna be good.

Unlike some other reality TV shows, MAFS producers take control of the cast’s accounts until it’s aired in both Australia and the UK. This is to avoid massive spoilers about who is and who isn’t still together, but as we know, it’s rarely pulled off successfully. In season 12 alone, Tim Gromie, Morena Farina, and Lauren Hall all refused to hand over control of their accounts. You’ve then got Jacqui Burfoot, who simply created another profile to keep up with her criminally online persona. Finally, there’s gentle giant Dave, who regained control in April ahead of the pre-agreed date – naughty.

Here’s what the cast of MAFS Australia has been posting on Instagram.

Jamie Marinos jumped straight on her Instagram stories

Jamie

Though she’s yet to post on her grid, Jamie Marinos wasted no time getting back on Instagram, posting several stories, giving a Q&A, and lifting the lid on her cosmetic surgery procedures. Lots of Jamie’s stories were centred around lifestyle bits such as skincare and beauty, though she did touch on a few MAFS Australia moments, such as her iconic to-camera stares being “such a meme” after the series.

On Tuesday, she then stepped out with her sister, Georgia Marinos, new boyfriend Eliot Donovan, and Carina Mirabile for a spot of shopping. Eliot and Jamie posed together in a mirror, and there was no denying they looked good together.

MAFS Australia’s Awhina answered some questions after getting Instagram back

Set to Eminem’s Without Me, Awhina posted a celebratory post to her grid alongside the caption, “Guess who just got their socials back after six months!” Her fellow season 12 siblings congratulated her in the comments, but it was on her stories where the real action was happening.

“I’m very single, and I’m sorry to the 1929928338838 questions about Billy and I we are just friends,” she answered one question, before replying to another about her time on MAFS with, “I had so much confidence before the show, after a long term relationship | was excited about dating. I gained 8 kgs while filming, and my self-esteem took a huge hit. It’s been 6 months now and I’m still not dating as deep down I’m still recovering from the impact the show had on my confidence.”

Adrian attended fashion week

Alongside Carina and Tony Mojanovski, MAFS’ Adrian Araouzou attended Australian Fashion Week, where he posted pictures from the lavish event alongside the caption, “Finally got the call up for the runway.”

Adrian also posted a bunch to his stories, but there were no subtitles, sorry.

Carina wasted no time proving she was the goat

MAFS Australia bride Carina posted FIVE separate grid posts after getting her Instagram back, the first a sizzling modelling shot where she was serving Kim Kardashian. She followed the pics with her mum at the Australian fashion week, a BTS of the modelling shoot, and even more snaps of her glam mother.

Carina’s stories followed a vlog-style format, with her bringing followers along to Australian Fashion Week and the subsequent dinner party. The food looked delicious, and now I’m starving.

Paul posted a cryptic message and a nostalgic BTS video

Sharing photos of himself looking incredibly dashing in a black suit, Paul Antoine wrote in the caption: “One chapter closed, a new one ahead…” He followed this with a throwback BTS video from MAFS Australia, which showed him lounging around with Dave Hand.

Paul also answered some burning questions from viewers on his Instagram story, revealing how future plans were “looking good.”

Sierah dropped some bombs when she got her Instagram back

After being caught red-handed in a series of cheating scandals involving Adrian, Sierah Swepstone had one of the more dramatic exits of MAFS Australia season 12. She remained incredibly quiet until getting her Instagram back, claiming she was working on a “tell-all” after being silenced for too long.

“Isolation is a recognised form of psychological abuse. It occurs when a person is deliberately distanced from their support networks – including friends, family, or sources of emotional or social support,” she said in another post.

“This tactic is often used to increase control, create depending and reduce a persons ability to resist or seek help. In emotionally intense environments, this kind of behaviour can escalate quickly and be easily missed – especially when there’s limited outside contact. Over time, isolation erodes confidence distorts perspective and makes it harder for the victim to recognise or escape the abuse.”

Rhi went to Gracie Abrams

Rhi

She might have great taste in men, but that clearly didn’t transfer to Rhi Disljenkovic’s taste in music because she shared snaps and videos from a recent Gracie Abrams concert. She’s currently on a plane to Japan with her sister, but she did share some skincare secrets in a Q&A on her stories.

Beth just started a Q&A – get over there!

Since getting her Instagram back, MAFS Australia’s Beth has been posting stunning selfies for her followers alongside gorgeous pictures of Evra Restaurant & Bar in Newstead. If you’ve got some burning questions, then get over to her Instagram because she just started a Q&A.

Teejay tried a thirst trap

In his first post-MAFS Australia Instagram, Teejay posted a shirtless thirst trap in a pool alongside the caption, “I’m back, Darling.” It was obviously his go-to phrase on the show, but paired with the eye contact with the camera, it was beyond creepy.

Ashleigh thanked people for their support

Ashleigh

She didn’t spend too long on the show, largely thanks to her idiot husband, Jake Luik, but Ashleigh nonetheless thanked people for their support on Instagram.

“Hey beautiful! Just wanted to say thank you for supporting me over the past few months & I’ll respond to every wonderful msg as soon as I can,” she said.

Katie is feeling very zen after MAFS Australia

Though she had an abysmal time on MAFS Australia, Katie Johnston is looking forward to better things. Posting to Instagram, she meditated in the sauna before plunging into an ice bath.

“Something has shifted… and it feels like the start of a brand new chapter. For the first time in my life, I’m truly focused on my physical health—not from a place of pressure or perfection, but from self-respect,” she captioned the powerful post. “Growing up, I didn’t have the tools, the culture, or the support to make health a priority… but I do now. And I’m learning, growing, and transforming in real time. Can’t wait to share more of this journey with you—inside and out.”

Guys, Billy boy is back!

Billy Belcher is yet to post any gory details or hidden secrets, but he did post a video thanking people for their support and teasing “fun” in the near future.
